A drone that transported the first asparagus of the year from the field to the market in Etten-Leur crashed.
Reported Omroep Brabant . Roland Peijnenburg of the restaurant De Zwaan had used the unmanned aircraft to festively open the asparagus season.
The drone crashed and burned completely, with all the asparagus on board. Probably the crash was caused by a technical fault.
Festive tasting of the first asparagus is now cancelled on Wednesday.
