A dad was arrested after he shot down a drone that he thought was spying on his sunbathing daughter.
William Meredith pulled out a shotgun and blasted the machine out of the sky after being alerted by his 16-year-old daughter that it was flying over their garden.
Meredith, 47, was in his home in Louisville, Kentucky, when his daughter ran in and told him there was a drone hovering over their property.
He told WDRB: “Sunday afternoon, the kids – my girls – were out on the back deck, and the neighbors were out in their yard.
“And they come in and said, ‘Dad, there’s a drone out here, flying over everybody’s yard.”
